Maybe you’ve sat in a Greek mythology class and couldn’t possibly see the real-world application. Maybe you already have a degree but the idea of sitting in front of a computer makes you want to cry. Or maybe you just want to get up everyday and go to a job that rocks! There’s nothing wrong with that.

If you’re curious about how it all works, visiting our campus is the best place to start. If you know where the Logan-Cache Airport is, we’re on the west side. Here you can get a close up view of a helicopter taking off and landing. You can see where students study and get an idea of what it would be like. We encourage you to take a ride for yourself with one of our instructors. Nothing compares to the feeling of being up in a helicopter. You’ll get to see Cache Valley from a perspective only a few people have experienced. If you want, we can go over the basics of flying and let you feel out the controls!

A job like no other

There aren’t too many professions as exciting as a helicopter pilot. Did you know less than 5% of pilots fly helicopters? Certified helicopter pilots are among the elite. Many people think the only way to fly a helicopter is to be in the military, but this isn’t true. You can be a helicopter pilot.

Flying for a living

Not for everybody

Choppers are loud. They’re fast. They’re small and they go up really high in the air. This makes some people nervous. Helicopters fly into remote locations where no other aircraft or vehicles can go. Conditions can be dangerous. As a helicopter pilot, you may need to travel often. If you are considering a career as a helicopter pilot, the best thing you can do is come take an intro flight. If you plan to do this for a living, it’s worth spending $99 and an hour of your time to see if you even like it. Warning: Flying may become your next obsession.

Cost

Not to discourage you, but flight school isn’t cheap! Obtaining money for flight school can feel overwhelming, but we’ll help you sort it out. We’ll show you what resources are available, who qualifies, and go over suggested loan repayment plans.

It’s an investment and a commitment, but it can pay off in Top Flight Salaries. Cost deters more of our students than any other factor. However, financing is available.
